Brasler Properties brings manufacturing & distribution capable buildings to Berks County

Brasler Properties announced three new manufacturing and distribution capable buildings to start construction in early 2016 in Berks County.

“We set out last year to find potential industrial sites that could handle manufacturing or distribution uses deployable within the current economic cycle in Eastern PA,” said Chris Brasler, CEO Brasler Properties. “The heavy infrastructure improvement costs and the sometimes un-foreseeable permitting delays, and common community distaste for bulk industrial on standard Greenfield sites in Eastern PA drove us to look at infill sites, close to infrastructure and labor clusters, buildable in 2016 that the surrounding communities wanted to see developed.”

Brasler Properties now controls over 75 acres in Berks County with 3 buildable footprints of 200-280,000 s/f deliverable in 2016. Steve Willems from NAI Keystone Commercial & Industrial LLC, who represents ownership states, “The sites in Muhlenberg Township are 15 minutes from I-78, on public transportation close to heaps of workers and are in the Keystone Communities Enterprise Zone with significant economic benefits available to term users from in the local community or from outside.” There are very few sites with this delivery profile from Central PA to Northern New Jersey. The industrial dialog in the region has recently been dominated by the large Distribution Centers along I-78 and I-81 while neglecting the regional manufacturing base. This package of properties provides wide flexibility of use with available infrastructure to meet that growing market demand.

BERKS61 (pictured), approved Land Development(Sept 2015) for 280,000 s/f manufacturing or distribution building, single or multiple tenant, up to 40’ clear with rail and up to 40 docks.

BERKS222 is set for Land Development submission in November with 2 pads able to accommodate 200,000 s/f each. The buildings on public transportation stops will both be able to handle up to 40 dock positions, will be up to 40’ clear and feature access to heavy power and significant onsite parking.
