WASHINGTON, DC — Gerald Divaris, chairman and chief executive officer of Divaris Real Estate, Inc., (DRE) announced the appointment of Robert Gray as vice president of investment sales and leasing in the company’s Washington, DC regional office. Gray will assist local, regional, and national landlords and tenants in the leasing and sales of office and retail properties throughout the DC, Northern Virginia and Maryland regions. He brings over ten years of commercial real estate leasing and sales experience to Divaris, and has handled transactions varying in scope from retail and office leasing to land disposition. Gray specializes in site selection for food and drink, fitness and home décor retailers, and is well versed in restaurant, investment property and land sales. His prior experience includes holding the position of vice president of Investment Sales and Leasing for Thur & Associates in Tysons Corner, VA. Prior to Thur, Gray worked with Long and Foster Real Estate, Inc., Commercial Division, TCN Worldwide, where he focused on small business tenant representation, landlord representation and commercial investment sales in Washington, DC. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and attended Washington College for American Studies. Gray is a licensed real estate agent in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC. He is currently a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers,( ICSC).
