Arlington, VA — Cushman & Wakefield has secured $60 million in financing for the Navy League Building, located at 2300 Wilson Blvd., a 198,865 s/f, class A, mixed-use office building located in Arlington. Executive managing director Philip Mudd and senior vice president Bradley Geiger of Cushman & Wakefield arranged the financing on behalf of the owner. The borrower was represented by Grossberg, Yochelson, Fox & Beyda, LLP. A bank served as the lender for the 10-year loan.
“The Navy League Building was constructed in 2005 by the Navy League of the United States to the highest standards,” said Mudd. “The quality of construction, the location, its mix of tenants, and the fact that it is the headquarters for the Navy League of the United States attracted strong lender interest from multiple sources.”
Located in Arlington County, the Navy League Building is located one block from the Courthouse Metrorail station. It was the first office building in Arlington to pursue LEED Silver Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. Green features include bicycle racks and cages in the four-level parking garage, two ADA-compliant locker/changing rooms with shower facilities, reserved parking spaces for carpoolers, and electric car charging stations.
Tenants include Bean Kinney & Koman, P.C., NOVA Transportation Commission, Associated General Contractors of America, and Navy League of the United States. Retail amenities include Bank of Georgetown, Ray’s the Steaks, John Marshall Bank, Mejana, and Five Guys.
