PARSIPPANY, NJ — Avison Young, a commercial real estate services firm, announced that that the company’s Project Management Services group has completed an extensive build out for the new corporate headquarters of Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, a premier consulting firm with nearly 1,000 employees and 25 offices worldwide. The 76,866 s/f space is located at 300 Kimball Dr., a newly renovated office building in Parsippany.After more than 20 years in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, Langan relocated its headquarters, which currently employees more than 300 professionals, to Parsippany. Avison Young was retained early in the design phase to provide project management services including the hiring and management of consultants, client vendors and the general contractor. Working closely with the architect and engineers, Avison Young coordinated the completion of the design process, and made recommendations for potential pre-purchase, long-lead items, as well as furniture planning and installation oversight. Avison Young also submitted drawings for permits, created the budget, schedule and executed contract management. Importantly, Avison Young played a key role in helping Langan meet its critical move-in deadline over the Thanksgiving weekend last November."Avison Young provided great value to Langan throughout the entire move and build out of our new space in Parsippany,” said David Gockel, president/CEO of Langan. The building recently underwent a capital improvements program that included the renovation of its lobby, bistro and fitness center, as well as numerous green strategies bringing the building the honor of LEED silver certification. The building was also awarded 2015’s “The Outstanding Building of the Year” by the New Jersey chapter of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
