Jennifer Stark and Kim Swider join Avison Young


Philadelphia, PA — David Fahey, Avison Young principal and managing director of the company’s Philadelphia office, announced today that Jennifer Stark, AIA, CSBA and Kim Swider have joined Avison Young in Philadelphia. Effective immediately, Stark joins Avison Young as a project manager and Swider as an assistant project manager. They will focus on managing and delivering a wide range of commercial, institutional and non-profit projects in Greater Philadelphia region and throughout the expanding Avison Young platform.

Prior to joining Avison Young, Stark was the Owner and Founder of Stark Design, which specialized in the preservation, rehabilitation, and adaptive use of historic buildings, the design of sensitive additions to historic buildings, and the design of new buildings that are appropriate to their setting and context. Her clients included the Philadelphia Zoo, Valley Forge National Historical Park and the Performance Garage. Stark is a licensed architect in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She has a MS in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania and earned her B. Arch from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She is also a Certified Sustainable Building Advisor. Swider brings to Avison Young over 15 years of experience. During her career, Swider has worked on various projects including coordinating the space planning and management of three regional office relocations and two new corporate offices. She holds a Bachelor of Art in Fashion Marketing from the Art Institute of Philadelphia.
