DRE’s Richmond office leases 35,457 s/f of new and renewed commercial space in VA


RICHMOND, VA — Gerald S. Divaris, chairman and CEO of Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE), announced the signing of six leases totaling 35,457 s/f of new and renewed commercial space in central Virginia. Negotiations were handled by the agents of DRE’s Richmond office. Rite Aid renewed its lease for 13,652 s/f of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed 360 West Shopping Center located at 7228 Hull Street Rd. in Richmond. Rite Aid is the largest drugstore chain on the East Coast and the third-largest in the United States, employing roughly 89,000 associates. House of Hair renewed its lease for 2,079 s/f of retail space in 360 West Shopping Center as well. The pharmacy and beauty salon are joined by co-tenants in 360 West that include: Dollar General, AutoZone, Subway, and Cricket Wireless. DRE’s Sara Goodall represented the landlord, HSW, LLC and RMW2, LLC, in both lease renewals. Epic Healthcare leased 8,844 s/f of office space in the Divaris-leased and –managed Fountain Park located at 9325 Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond. The Epic Health Services family of companies provides pediatric skilled nursing, therapy, developmental services, and home medical solutions, including enteral nutrition, respiratory, specialty pharmacy, and medical supplies to medically fragile children across the United States. DRE’s Steven Lindsay and John Madures represented both the tenant and the landlord, Midlothian Partners of Virginia LLC, in the lease negotiations. Materials Software Systems leased 967 s/f of office space in Fountain Park, as well. Materials Software System Inc. (MSSI) is a global information technology (IT) services company providing IT consulting, technology and outsourcing services. Lindsay and Madures represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Bookbinders extended its lease for 8,115 s/f of retail space in the Divaris-leased Phillip Morris Building at 2306 East Cary St. in Richmond. The family-owned steak and seafood restaurant is joined by Meridien Energy, H&L Partners and Native Collab in the building. DRE’s Read Goode represented the tenant while Brett McNamee and Ali Newton of Divaris handled the lease negotiations on behalf of the landlord, F.C. Phillip Morris, LP. ProNails renewed its lease for 1,800 s/f of retail space in the Divaris-leased Waynesboro Town Center located at 740 Town Center Dr. in Waynesboro, VA. The nail salon is joined by Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Ross Dress for Less, Michael’s, PetSmart, and Kohl’s in the regional power center. Waynesboro Town Center is situated off I-64 between Charlottesville and I-81. DRE’s McNamee and Newton represented the landlord, Waynesboro Town Center, LLC, in the lease negotiations.
