“Do something that challenges and interests you”

Experience: Since joining JLL in 2011, Alex has completed over 500,000 s/f of tenant representation transactions and has helped secure over 4 million s/f of landlord representation assignments. In his current role, Alex has facilitated the strategic placement and planning of Tenants in the Philadelphia CBD and surrounding suburbs through combining site selection, occupancy planning, budgeting, quantitative & qualitative analysis and flexibility analysis to achieve his client’s goals. What is your most notable project, deal or transaction? The Founders Collection. An aggressive redevelopment project that has set the high water mark for class A Office rents through the repositioning of three class B assets. How do you contribute to your company and / or the industry? I assist landlords in increasing the value of their assets through leasing and strategic rent growth strategies and assist Commercial Tenant’s in aligning their Real Estate needs with the company goals. Who or what has been the strongest influence in your career? My clients. Whether I’m working together with my landlord clients to come up with creative solutions to solve Tenant’s needs or with my Tenant client’s working together to create a workplace that not just houses but advances their company, I learn from my clients every day. What were some of your early goals and did anything happen to change them? My single most important goal has been to provide the best service possible to my clients through a track record of being a trusted, honest and hardworking advisor. In accomplishing that, all other goals fall into place. What inspiring word of advice would you give to a young executive graduating from college?Rather than simply do something you love, do something that challenges and interests you. There is nothing worse than boredom in the job you spend 40+ hours a week doing. What is your proudest professional accomplishment? Earning Top Achiever at JLL. Current Responsibilities: Alex Breitmayer, a Vice President in JLL’s downtown Philadelphia office, is recognized as an expert in minimizing costs and optimizing efficiencies for tenants and landlords as well as providing exceptional return for investors. Alex specializes in representing landlords in the Philadelphia market and tenants both locally in Philadelphia and nationally in their overall real estate portfolio needs.
