State College, PA — The Keystone Contractors Association recently awarded Alexander Building Construction Co. senior project manager, Mike Sgriccia, with the inaugural KCA Top Young Leader Award. This award is bestowed upon emerging professionals from member companies who play critical roles in the community and professional areas of the construction industry. The announcement was made at an event Wednesday night at the Toftrees Club. In the ten years Sgriccia has been with Alexander, he has led the construction of fourteen projects totaling more than $182 million for some of Central Pennsylvania’s largest employers. His project experience includes a new dining facility at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, multiple projects for Mount Nittany Health including the Emergency Department Expansion, Lance and Ellen Shaner Cancer Pavilion and the Perioperative Services Expansion, as well as ongoing work at the second largest football stadium in the country, Penn State’s Beaver Stadium.
