NEWARK, NJ — Developer Dranoff Properties, Inc. of Philadelphia welcomed the first residents at One Theater Square, Newark’s much-anticipated, first ground-up residential high rise since 1960 located across from NJPAC and the vibrant Military Park. One Theater Square embodies a vision of downtown Newark that has been decades in the making. The 22-story luxury skyscraper with a signature curved glass tower contains 245 spacious apartments, 12,000 s/f of ground level retail, 285 parking spots and amenities that include: 24-concierge service, a state-of-the-art fitness center, club rooms, and an outdoor entertainment space outfitted with soft seating, TV’s and fire pits.

Erica Dixon a merchandise planner with a prominent Manhattan retailer moved in and is delighted with her one-bedroom unit. “It’s so nice to have new appliances that have never been used, and a bathroom, kitchen, flooring and walls that look like they were just unwrapped.” My favorite feature is the oversized windows, which let in streams of natural light. I also have views of the Manhattan skyline from my living room and balcony and I’m just 15 minutes to Manhattan by train.” Previously, Dixon lived in Edison and her door-to-door round trip commute was nearly three hours.
