What is your greatest professional accomplishment?
In 2017, I finished as top agent in Virginia for Marcus & Millichap. I also received the Costar Power Broker Award and an induction in Marcus & Millichap’s National Achievement Awards which included a weeklong stay in Mexico with the firms top brokers.
What is your most notable project, deal or transaction?
I sold a 400 unit Multifamily deal in Newport News this spring at $24.5M. This same property was bought by my client in 2014 at around $5M.
How do you contribute to your company and/or the industry?
I lead a team of five professionals whom all enable Marcus & Millichap to maintain our dominant market share in Hampton Roads Virginia while expanding our market share throughout the rest of the state and region. As per the industry, I provide a specialized unit of professionals that operate with integrity, tenacity, and creative forward thinking ways. We like to see ourselves as the testers for new tech in the industry. We try to lead the charge in advancing real estate into the present and future of technology.
Who or what has been the strongest influence in your career?
My mentor and former partner, Matt Drane, who is now the Regional Manager for the DC office.
What impact has social media/networking had on your career?
It has enabled us to become the go to Multifamily brokers by making people aware of the success we provide our clients.
