40 Under 40: Diligence, Persistence and Reliability

Professional Accomplishments Brad Domenico was no stranger to commercial real estate finance growing up. His mother, Kathy Anderson, founded Progress Capital in 1990 when he was just 6 years old. From then on, he heard stories of big buildings with big community influence. This sparked an early interest in real estate related investments and finance. Subsequently, in 2006, Brad, a NJ native, graduated from Rider University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance. Unsure of exactly where he wanted to land within the financial sector, Brad took an analyst position with Lehman Brothers working in the Fixed Income and Equities Department. As an analyst he had exposure to a large breadth of investment and finance products. From there he joined Neuberger Berman as an Associate in 2008. Brad focused his knowledge on asset allocation models, mutual funds and long-term investment objectives. Working with high net worth clients, foundations and universities he realized he had a particular interest in commercial real estate investments. In 2010, while still with Neuberger Berman, Brad founded Lexington Realty Advisors to own and operate several multifamily buildings in Northern NJ. In 2013, Brad decided to leave Neuberger Berman and partner with his mother, Kathy Anderson, to significantly build out a larger mortgage banking team, growing the existing firm and increasing industry market share.
