Israeli companies find a home in Baltimore County

One company is revolutionizing security systems to improve emergency response. Another firm is making it easier to pay without cash. A third Israeli company is helping companies improve fleet management. These entrepreneurial Israeli firms have chosen Baltimore County as the place to grow their business in the United States. The County’s economic development team, the icybercenter@bwtech, Maryland Israel Development Center (MDIC) and World Trade Center Institute offer resources for international firms to thrive here. The services offered by Baltimore County are attractive to international firms, particularly companies in the tech space. Located next to a leading university, UMBC, bwtech@UMBC offers assistance for start-up technology companies to help them make valuable connections with customers, suppliers and academic institutions. The new icybercenter@bwtech incubator program creates a soft landing for small international companies looking to set up a U.S. operation. MDIC promotes bi-lateral trade and investment and connects companies and entrepreneurs from Maryland and Israel for sales, distribution, investment, representation and joint R&D.
