CHICAGO, IL — Rod Blake, a long-time specialist in mixed-use development, has joined Starwood Retail Partners as vice president of development the company announced. Drawing upon on his nearly 30 years of development, leasing, sales and government relations experience in both the public and private sectors, Blake will be responsible for identifying and implementing mixed-use development opportunities for Starwood Retail, to create value for all stakeholders. He will report to senior vice president of development Vincent Corno. "Rod Blake's multifaceted background perfectly mirrors what we are exploring for each of our 30 enclosed malls and lifestyle centers," Corno said.
