KEARNY, NJ — Hugo Neu announced that Kearny Point has received the 2018 Governor’s Excellence Award for Lead Economic Development Partnership. The project was honored at the annual Governor’s Conference on Housing and Economic Development, held earlier this month in Atlantic City.
The Lead Economic Development award recognizes projects that promote economic growth through local job creation, private investment, and the catalytic impact of additional development. In addition to Hugo Neu, New Jersey Community Capital, Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group, the Town of Kearny, and Hudson County were recognized for their respective roles in the Kearny Point redevelopment.
