Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in:
I began working in the environmental consulting industry in 1993 within days of graduating from The Pennsylvania State University. “We ARE!”
What is your current position?
I am an Associate Principal/Vice President at GZA in Fairfield, New Jersey.
What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2019?
I joined GZA, bringing my entire group and client base from another firm with me, while maintaining a relationship with my former firm. My group includes three other working moms who I have mentored.
How do you manage the work/life balance?
I am extremely organized, which has allowed me to be very involved with my kids’ activities while advancing my career. I have led school events since my oldest began kindergarten in 2005--and continue to chair these same events today! I never felt that I had to choose my career over the children.
