Neuman brokers $3.5M sale of 1.2-acre site

Annapolis, MD —Neuman Commercial Group, LLC has arranged the first sale in forty-four years of landmark auto dealership Criswell Acura in Annapolis, Maryland’s state capital. The 1.2-acre corner site fronting a primary commercial corridor at 1701 West St. was leased for forty years to Criswell Acura. Neuman Commercial Group, led by principal Gil Neuman, represented the seller, Fanaroff & Steppa LLC, and arranged the sale to the tenant. The sale price was $3.5 million.
Gil Neuman explained: “The decades-long Criswell lease was nearing its end. We procured multiple prospective purchasers and new prospective lessees, but Criswell interjected to purchase their own site.” He added: “This acquisition with their adjacent assets cements Criswell Acura as one of the area’s leading luxury car dealers.”
Over 26,000 autos drive daily by 1701 West St. Area retailers include Sam’s Club, Target, Whole Foods, The Home Depot, Fresh Market, Home Sense, and The Container Store.
