Bryn Mawr, PA — B & F recently wrapped up an extensive campus-wide exterior envelope replacement endeavor for Beaumont at Bryn Mawr, a not-for-profit retirement community renowned for its commitment to resident ownership. Their involvement in this undertaking commenced during the initial design phase, just before the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020. Collaborating closely with various professionals including architect Lenhardt Rodgers Architect + Interiors, landscape designer Mara Baird, envelope consultant Intertek, and builder Warfel Construction, the team embarked on a meticulous journey towards revitalizing Beaumont’s exterior spaces.
Given Beaumont’s status as a resident-owned community, the project naturally involved a multitude of stakeholders. Throughout the entirety of the project lifecycle, B & F diligently ensured that all parties remained engaged and informed. Regular communication channels were established to solicit input from stakeholders at every juncture, and updates regarding construction-related activities were consistently disseminated.
This concerted effort to maintain transparency and collaboration underscored B & F’s commitment to delivering not just a physical renovation, but a project that resonated with the values and aspirations of the Beaumont community.
B&F has been involved with the planning and construction of several senior living facilities, working closely with owners, architects, and contractors from the earliest phases of development through project completion to ensure success. Our project managers understand the unique and important mission of these facilities – as a home, a community, and a vital source of care.
