Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in:
The commercial real estate industry has been home for me for the majority of my professional carrier. After moving to the United States, I was looking for a career in business. I was introduced to commercial real estate somewhat accidentally. After casually describing to a good friend my carrier goals, she recommended that I speak to a commercial real estate broker which began my journey into the industry.
What is your current position?
Sr. Advisor with SVN Ahia Commercial Real Estate, a full service national commercial real estate brokerage and advisory firm.
Why did you choose the field/profession you are in today?
What attracted me to commercial real estate industry was the opportunity to be responsible for my own success while enjoying flexibility of schedule as well as having enormous potential to provide value to clients and the broader community in a unique way.
What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2020?
I would say that it was completing the core educational requirement for CCIM designation. I look forward to taking the comprehensive exam in 2021 and to completing the path to earning the CCIM pin.
What was your most notable project, deal or transaction in 2020?
2020 has been a unique year for many, but I am grateful to say that we were able to grow despite the challenging circumstances. One transaction that comes to mind was completing a sale of a multi-million dollar multi-tenant retail property which allowed our clients to acquire every significant “essential” single tenant, net leased asset right before the epidemic started. It was an extremely meaningful transaction to our clients in providing them with the opportunity to reposition their risk profile while preserving their lifestyle.
