CBRE announces Baldé as Greater Philadelphia market leader

Veteran executive takes Philadelphia Market lead

Philadelphia, PA — CBRE has announced the appointment of Mamadou Baldé to senior managing director and market leader for Greater Philadelphia.

In this role, Baldé will be responsible for all day-to-day operations for all Greater Philadelphia Advisory Service lines of business, including leasing, sales, valuations, debt and structured finance and property management across all property types.

This appointment follows the promotion of Valerija Beares, formerly the Greater Philadelphia market leader, to COO, Advisory, US & Canada.

Baldé joined CBRE in 2021 as managing director and market leader for Greater Pittsburgh. Under his leadership, both the Pittsburgh and West Virginia markets have grown significantly to include more than 140 employees and nearly 40 leasing and sales professionals.

Prior to CBRE, Baldé served in leadership roles at Fulani Millwork, Inc. and ACTION-Housing and as a VP at Colliers, where he advised corporate clients on leasing strategies and market and financial analysis. Additionally, he is a graduate of Liberty University School of Law and previously practiced law at a regional firm in Pittsburgh.
