Adds 11 professionals, including leaders Ron Street, Rosella Harvey, and Anne McFadden
Philadelphia, PA — Cresa, the world’s leading occupier-centric commercial real estate firm, announced the acquisition of NorthStar Owners Representation (NorthStar), a Philadelphia-based project management company with a focus on the nonprofit sector. This strategic move brings NorthStar’s 11 professionals, including its leadership team—Ron Street, Rosella Harvey, and Anne McFadden—into Cresa’s existing project management operations at its Conshohocken and Philadelphia offices. The acquisition enables Cresa to offer enhanced project management services throughout the Northeast and beyond.
“NorthStar is a top-tier project management firm in Philadelphia whose entrepreneurial spirit, occupier first approach, and strong cultural foundation align perfectly with our values,” said Tony Juliano, Cresa’s Philadelphia market leader. “We are thrilled to expand our service offering while leveraging their experience in the non-profit sector to grow our business.”
Founded in 1999, NorthStar quickly grew into one of the leading project management companies in the region. Its multidisciplinary, 360-degree approach to projects set the industry standard while its collaborative, in-house team allowed the company to support a wide variety of complex projects in corporate and non-profit industry segments. Noted for its work in higher education, PreK-12 schools, life sciences centers, senior communities, and museums, NorthStar boasts an impressive client roster that includes Villanova University, Mastery Charter Schools, Evergreen Charter School, Dunwoody Village Retirement Community, Haverford College, and Miami Children’s Museum.
For NorthStar, cultural alignment and the opportunity to tap into a more robust platform with extensive reach was the main driver for the merger.
“We are excited to join Cresa, a firm that not only offers us broader reach and innumerable resources but also shares our vision,” said Street. “Culturally, it’s a perfect fit and allows us to continue delivering exceptional service to our clients who in turn benefit from the opportunities and support that come with being part of a larger organization.”
Cresa’s Project Management is an integrated service that functions both as a stand-alone and a complement to its Transaction Management and Workplace Strategy teams to execute each assignment. Collaboration between the groups ensures space is strategically conceived, efficiently designed, and executed – from site selection to move-in – by the project team to balance quality, cost, and timely performance.
