What helped you not just break in, but truly establish yourself as a top performer?

My father’s mentorship was foundational to my growth. From a young age, he gave me real responsibility and included me in key decisions, exposing me early to the industry’s inner workings. That experience built my confidence – not just in knowledge, but in my ability to contribute and lead. It taught me professionalism, curiosity and to trust my instincts.

Can you share an example of a time when a mentor provided crucial advice?

Early in my career, seasoned professionals in our office advised me to shape my approach: “Focus on a specific area, learn everything about it and make it yours. Know who owns what, who’s leasing space, what’s coming up – and become the expert people turn to.” That guidance helped me see the value of deep, local knowledge. I began by focusing on a small territory, building relationships and learning the market inside and out.

What has been your most significant transaction in 2024/2025?

One of my most significant recent transactions was selling 1260 North Ave. in Plainfield, a 12,500 s/f warehouse, for a repeat client who had quickly outgrown the space. We’d helped him purchase it just four years earlier, so it was rewarding to come full circle and support his next phase of growth. We then secured a 24,000 s/f warehouse in Union, coordinating both deals for a seamless transition.

What steps do you believe CRE needs to take to increase representation of women in senior brokerage roles?

In my experience, CRE has been welcoming. As a young woman, I was trusted early and judged by results. We should continue encouraging capable people to pursue brokerage and stay long enough to build meaningful careers. Success depends on work ethic, consistency and value delivered. As more women advance on the merit of performance, balanced senior representation will follow naturally.

What qualities or personality do you feel make you most successful in your profession?

Attention to detail and strong follow-through are my core strengths. In CRE’s fast-paced, high-stakes environment, they ensure nothing is missed and clients get accurate, timely information. Being organized and thorough lets me manage complex transactions and anticipate challenges before they arise.
