Duke Realty secures lease with Green Chef in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA — The Pennsylvania office of Duke Realty Corporation, the leading domestic only, pure-play logistics property REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) in the United States, announces it has secured a long-term lease renewal and expansion with Green Chef. Acquired by HelloFresh in 2018, Green Chef is the first-ever USDA-certified organic meal kit company powering the pursuit of eating well. The warehouse at 1130 Commerce Blvd. in the Philadelphia submarket of Logan Twp. features 170,160 s/f of space and convenient access to major thoroughfares enabling Green Chef to serve new and existing customers in the Northeast.
“At Duke Realty, our clients are looking for conveniently located, modern industrial warehouse and distribution facilities that can accommodate company growth,” said Scott Henderson, vice president of leasing and development for Duke Realty in Pennsylvania. “Our facility, 1130 Commerce Blvd., provides Green Chef with a state-of-the-art, strategically-located facility where the company could expand its distribution network helping them better serve its customers.”
Duke Realty’s facility at 1130 Commerce Blvd. is a 386,026 s/f cross dock distribution center. Green Chef’s menus cater to a range of dietary preferences, including vegan, keto, vegetarian, omnivore and more. The company will use the facility to warehouse, prepare and distribute its meal kits. With Green Chef’s long-term lease agreement for 170,160 square feet of space, the facility is fully leased.
