DUNCANSVILLE, PA The Eastern Atlantic States Carpenters Technical Center (EASCTC) has launched a virtual tour of its Duncansville training center to show students, their families, and career changers what union carpentry education looks like from any location.

The digital platform lets users walk through contemporary educational spaces and observe millwork and welding areas, heavy highway and concrete facilities, and additional services.

The tour is available in English and Spanish and gives users an insight into specialized carpentry training for future union carpenters, regardless of their location.

“The virtual tour opens the door for visitors, showing how a career as a union carpenter can become a meaningful and lifelong profession,” said Cyndie Williams, executive director of the Carpenter Contractor Trust (CCT). “What makes this tour especially compelling is that it highlights the wide range of specialty skills that apprentices can develop as they advance in their careers.”

The combination of modern technology with traditional apprenticeship programs allows students to experience their future training environment through virtual tour. The free tour offers access at any time.

The EASCTC is committed to developing a highly skilled, safety-conscious workforce prepared to meet the evolving demands of the construction industry.
