Upper Saucon Twp., PA — The Jewish Community Center decides to sell Day Camp facility in Upper Saucon Township. After 54 years of owning the property and providing Day Camp activities to youth at the property with municipal size in-ground pool, sports fields, pavilions, a very popular tree rope course and more, the interest in camps of this nature has been on a decline nationally and the JCC decided it was time to sell. The Covid pandemic further confirmed continuing this camp was no longer a viable option. After an agreement with a buyer interested in continuing a public activity purpose and specifically the tree rope course met opposition from local residents, the seller decided to accept an offer from a 3rd Generation Farm Family to reclaim old JCC Camp back to farmland.
