GRCA welcomes Fiore as events coordinator

Reading, PA — The Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) is pleased to announce its recent hire of Devon Fiore, who will join the team as Events Coordinator. Within this newly created position, Fiore will manage day-to-day event and special program tasks including client relations management, marketing assistance, social media and backend system updates. “I’m so excited to join the GRCA team! I’m looking forward to making new connections with individuals and businesses in Berks County. I’m excited for the opportunity to give back to the community through the mission of the GRCA,” said Fiore.

Most recently, Fiore served as a marketing and events coordinator for LNP Media Group, managing community and product launch events. Prior to that, she served as the special events coordinator for Hospice & Community Care, Lancaster, and was responsible for major fundraising events.

“Bringing Devon onto the GRCA team is going to expand our efforts in the Events and Special Programs department through sponsor engagement and event creativity. She brings with her an array of event planning skills, nonprofit work experience and a background of marketing and fostering relationships,” Rachael Romig, director of Events & Special Programs, GRCA. “In a time where we don’t know what 2021 will fully look like, she is the perfect addition to the team to aid in thinking outside the box, collaborating with community partners and growing our member base!”

In other news, GRCA, in cooperation with the Berks County Commissioners and the Berks Agricultural Resource Network (B.A.R.N.), has launched the “Grow Together” campaign to promote locally produced agricultural products that are available in season and connect consumers with Berks County’s farmers.
