JBG SMITH Welcomes Twins Ace Hardware at The Zoe in National Landing

BETHESDA, MDJBG SMITH announced that Twins Ace Hardware has leased the entirety of the 8,116-square-foot ground-floor retail space at The Zoe, JBG SMITH’s 420-unit residential tower in National Landing.

 

“Twins Ace Hardware represents an excellent addition to the retail landscape we have cultivated to serve the community in National Landing,” said Brandon Taff, Senior Vice President of Commercial Asset Management at JBG SMITH. “We're strategically enhancing our offerings with a retailer that perfectly bridges the hardware and home goods landscape, providing residents convenient access to a versatile shopping destination all under one roof, that truly embodies our vision of creating complete, walkable neighborhoods where every day needs can be met just steps from home."

 

Twins Ace Hardware, based in Arlington, VA, is locally owned and operated by Jeff Smith. The store will offer a wide selection of home improvement essentials, including paint, gardening supplies, tools, and a curated range of home goods and unique gifts. In addition to its product offerings, Twins Ace provides helpful local services to support customers in maintaining, repairing, and improving their homes. Known for its personalized service, high-quality products, and community-focused approach, Twins Ace Hardware also emphasizes environmental responsibility and proudly features many locally sourced items. The store is expected to open in the fall, marking the second location in Arlington.

With 19 stories, The Zoe’s multifamily tower includes 420 units ranging from studio to two-bedroom layouts. Residents can access rooftop spaces with unobstructed, panoramic views of National Landing and the Washington, DC skyline, a pool with cabana seating, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Additional amenities include 24-hour concierge service, co-working space and conference rooms, community rooms, and a pet spa with a grooming station. In-garage bike parking and electric vehicle charging stations are also available.
