Philadelphia, PA — LeMessurier, a nationally respected structural engineering and enclosure consulting firm known for its collaborative partnerships and innovative contributions to the built environment, is proud to announce the opening of its newest office in Philadelphia. Located at 3 North 2nd St., Suite 300, in the heart of Old City, this strategic expansion positions the firm to better serve clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
The move marks a meaningful milestone for LeMessurier, which has been active in the Philadelphia area for decades through major projects at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Princeton University, the University of Delaware, and throughout the region. With deep experience in the academic, commercial, cultural, research, and pharmaceutical markets, the firm is now establishing a permanent presence to build on its legacy and invest in the region’s future.
“We’ve had roots in this region for a long time,” said Greg Shreve, PE, SE, managing principal, who leads the new office. “Philadelphia is experiencing a powerful wave of design innovation grounded in civic pride, history, and purpose. The city’s commitment to adaptive reuse, sustainability, and visionary architecture aligns beautifully with our values. We’re thrilled to now be a formal part of it.”
LeMessurier’s Philadelphia office will initially focus on structural engineering services, consistent with its core offerings in Boston and Portland. With a reputation for excellence on technically demanding and mission-driven projects, the firm brings a unique blend of hands-on principal involvement, design creativity, and technical rigor to every engagement.
“Opening in Philadelphia fits squarely within our long-term vision of growing our brand of high-performance structural engineering services,” said Shreve. “Expanding our physical footprint enables us to serve our current clients more effectively across Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic and to build new relationships in a region full of design ambition.”
LeMessurier is actively hiring senior-level staff to anchor the new office and strengthen its local partnerships. Recent and ongoing projects in the area include:
• Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, a longstanding collaboration since the early 1990s
