South Plainfield, NJ — The Metz Industrial Group (MIG) of Bussel Realty Corp. (BRC) has leased 27,484 s/f on behalf of Great Moving & Storage at 20 Harmich Rd., Building 2 in South Plainfield, a 57,250 s/f industrial building.

Jordan Metz, principal, Benito Abbate, senior associate, and James Friel, sales associate, of the Metz Industrial Group of BRC represented Great Moving & Storage in the transaction. Lee & Associates represented the landlord, Marcus Partners.

“Great Movers has been a long-term MIG client, and we’re thrilled to place them into a space that matches the scale of their growth. With Class B industrial vacancy hovering at 4%, quality options are limited, and 20 Harmich Road was the perfect fit,” noted Metz. “It’s incredibly rewarding to watch clients we’ve worked with for one or two decades continue to grow and expand their businesses. Supporting that growth is exactly why MIG exists, and why so many companies rely on us to navigate a tightening industrial market.”

Situated on 4.9 acres, 20 Harmich Rd., Building 2 in South Plainfield, is a 57,250 s/f industrial property located near the New Jersey Tpke., I-287, Routes 1-9 and 440, Garden State Pkwy., and the Outerbridge Crossing to Staten Island, NY. The property features 27-foot-6-inch-high ceilings, two tailboard loading, five drive-in doors, wet sprinklers, 400 amps of electric power and ample parking spaces.

In a separate transaction, Bussel Realty Corp. (BRC) completed two industrial lease transactions totaling 4,500 s/f at 100 Ryan St. in South Plainfield, a two-building class A industrial center totaling 54,000 s/f. With these leases, the property is now 100% leased.

In the first transaction, BRC leased 1,500 s/f, Suite 30, to Superior Wash, a rapidly growing mobile detailing company serving commercial fleets throughout New Jersey. In the second transaction, BRC leased 3,000 s/f, Suites 9 and 10, to Univista LLC, a food distribution company entering the New Jersey market with a unique potato chip product line.

Michael Costa, vice president of BRC, represented both tenants in the transactions. The landlord, Ryan 100 Holdings, was represented by Steve Bussel, president of BRC.

“Superior Wash, a top new player in the NJ mobile detailing business, has emerged as a strong contender for servicing large commercial fleets throughout the state,” said Costa. “Referred through a previous client, Superior Wash was seeking to continue its rapid expansion and required a high-quality, well-located industrial space. Securing this location has already helped the company land another large fleet contract, and it was a pleasure advising them on such a strategic move.”

Costa added, “Univista LLC is an excellent business entering the New Jersey food distribution market, and their potato chip products are an outstanding new option for New Jersey consumers. I am excited to assist with their expansion into a new warehouse space and support their growth as they scale operations. With continued strong demand for small bay industrial space, it is rewarding to place tenants that are an ideal fit for this highly competitive market.”

Univista LLC is a managed IT support services firm, with a dedicated staff and array of services to monitor and maintain a customer’s network including Windows, Mac, or Linux systems.

Superior Wash is a mobile pressure washing company specializing in cleaning commercial truck fleets. They provide on-site services using environmentally friendly methods and water recovery systems.
