BALTIMORE, MD — NAIOP announced that it is now called the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (CREDA), a new name that builds on the association’s longstanding industry leadership while positioning it for the future. The Maryland Chapter - comprised of nearly 400 members working for commercial real estate development companies, brokerage and law firms, architectural and interior designer groups, and other entities serving the industry - is now known as CREDA Maryland - The Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
“For decades, NAIOP Maryland has represented the interests of Maryland’s commercial real estate industry and the professionals who create and manage the places where people work, shop, live and connect,” said Sean Doordan, president of CREDA Maryland, and senior executive vice president, Acquisitions & Growth for St. John Properties, Inc. “The transition to CREDA Maryland more clearly reflects our mission and the broad range of stakeholders we serve. Commercial office, industrial, logistics, multifamily and retail real estate are powerful drivers of economic growth, job creation and community investment. Through advocacy, education, research and relationships, CREDA Maryland will continue to advance policies and opportunities that support a strong commercial real estate sector and a stronger Maryland.”
Founded in 1985, CREDA MD serves the interests of members and member companies.
