National Realty & Development Corp. announces NJ Transit leases 2nd fl. at Baker Waterfront Plaza


Hoboken, NJ — National Realty & Development Corp. (NRDC) announced that NJ TRANSIT Corp. has leased the entire second floor at its 95,000 s/f Baker Waterfront Plaza in Hoboken.

NJ TRANSIT will relocate employees currently housed in the historic Hoboken train station to the new 11,168 s/f space in Baker Waterfront Plaza where it currently occupies two other suites and has been a tenant for 10 years.

NJ TRANSIT is the nation’s third largest provider of bus, rail and light rail transit, linking major points in New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia.

“We would like to extend our thanks to NJ TRANSIT for their continued tenancy at Baker Waterfront Plaza,” said Brian Sekel, executive vice president at NRDC. “This prime class A office building remains one of our landmark properties and has proven to be a sought-after location. We look forward to continuing our longstanding relationship.”

Located at Two Hudson Place, the property overlooks the Hudson River and is situated directly across from the NJ TRANSIT Hoboken Terminal. The Holland Tunnel is located a half mile south of the property, while access to Rtes. 1 & 9 and the NJ Tpke. are approximately one mile southwest.
