NEPTUNE, NJ — Pink Balloon and REDCOM Design & Construction celebrated the groundbreaking of Pink Balloon’s new dispensary in Neptune. The project, which includes partial demolition of the existing structure, will deliver a modern, two-story ~3,500 s/f facility with completion targeted for late 2025.

Dignitaries and attendees included Neptune Township Mayor Robert Lane, New Jersey State Senator Vin Gopal (Majority Whip, District 11), members of the Neptune Township Committee, and Pink Balloon co-founders Teri Festa and Mike Aquino.

“Pink Balloon is about creating a space that feels welcoming for everyone—whether your canna-curious or a canna-seur. Our mission is to build a place where everyone feels comfortable—whether you’re just starting to explore cannabis or you’ve been part of the culture for years. Accessibility and community are at the heart of what we do,” said Teri Festa, co-founder of Pink Balloon.

“This project is about more than a building—it’s about investing in Neptune’s future, creating jobs, and building a space that will serve and uplift the community for years to come,” added Mike Aquino, co-founder of Pink Balloon.

“We are honored that Teri and Mike put their faith in REDCOM to construct this dispensary and are excited to apply our expertise to this challenging project,” said Joe Lane, account executive at REDCOM Design & Construction.
