Ambler, Pa | Cary, NC — Precis Engineering + Architecture has made three strategic appointments, hiring Josh Hirshenhorn as director – business development and Corin Gearhart as marketing manager, and promoting Debbie Douglas, AIA, to director – special projects. The appointments became effective in June 2026, and all three contribute to firm leadership.

Hirshenhorn brings more than 15 years of sales and business development experience, including work in the regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences markets. He will collaborate with Precis leaders and technical teams to strengthen client relationships and support growth. Hirshenhorn holds a B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh and is a member of AMFP and ISPE. He succeeds Deirdre Garcia, who retired in June.

Gearhart brings more than 15 years of graphic design and marketing experience. Her background includes branding, collateral development, social media strategy, video and photography coordination, and proposal development. She will lead daily marketing operations and work closely with the business development team. Gearhart holds a B.S. in Graphic Design from Jefferson University.

Douglas joined Precis in 2023 and brings more than 30 years of architecture and project management experience across commercial and residential markets in the US and abroad. In her new role, she will lead specialized, small-scale commercial projects and project teams. She holds B.Arch. and B.A.S. degrees from the University of Cape Town.
