DUNELLEN, NJ — Blue Foundry Bank and Kessler Rehabilitation Center opened their doors this fall at The Nell, Prism Capital Partners’ mixed-use, transit-oriented community in downtown Dunellen. Prism recently put the finishing touches on the property’s 9,300 s/f, free-standing retail building at 100 South Washington Ave.
Designed by Spiezle Architectural Group, the retail building sits directly across from the Dunellen Train Station. It incorporates modern interpretations of vintage transit-themed elements including peaked roofs, contrasting trim and signage.
“The Nell was carefully designed to complement its neighborhood, and the retail component was planned to serve the entire Dunellen community,” said Robert Fourniadis, Prism’s senior vice president, residential. “We are thrilled to welcome these two well-respected brands, both of which provide essential services.”
The Dunellen branch of New Jersey-based Blue Foundry Bank (2,757 s/f) offers personal and business banking with the convenience of drive-through service. Kessler Rehabilitation Center (2,870 s/f) provides occupational and hand therapy, sports medicine, workplace injury treatment and prevention, and specialized rehabilitation services.
The Nell’s multifamily component features 252 highly amenitized, luxury one- and two-bedroom residences; the apartments are 100% leased. The property also includes 130 for-sale townhomes developed by K. Hovnanian Companies.
