3PL and Stilo representatives attend ceremony at 156 Boundary Rd.

Marlboro, NJ — REDCOM Design & Construction joined the groundbreaking ceremony for the 3PL Logistics Center, 156 Boundary Rd., Marlboro.
The facility will have improved access along Boundary Rd., expanded parking areas, and upgraded stormwater management systems. REDCOM is managing the construction and provided architectural and engineering services.

The REDCOM team has started the ground-up construction of a brand-new logistics, shipping, and fulfillment facility. The building (56,170 s/f) will include four offices, one large breakroom, and two bathrooms. There will be four loading dock doors and one drive-in door. It will be a pre-cast concrete panel building with form liners.
The facility will have improved access along Boundary Rd., expanded parking areas, and upgraded stormwater management systems. REDCOM managed the construction and provided architectural and engineering services.
Sam Rockaway, REDCOM senior vice president of Sales, said, “The 156 Boundary Road project highlights our focus on creating advanced, future-ready logistics facilities. We’re proud to work with Marcos Eddi and the 3PL Center team on a development that supports long-term growth and reflects our shared commitment to excellence.”
Meanwhile, Sean Feeney, senior VP of Construction Operations at REDCOM was recently published in Construction Business Owner Magazine. The article, “How REDCOM Design & Construction Navigated a Complicated Project Process,” presents a case study in which a large warehouse with a sinking concrete slab was remediated after engineers identified inadequate underlying soil conditions to support the weight of the warehouse. Through collaboration and the use of helical micro-piles to create a new, secure foundation, the building was successfully restored and made safe for long-term use.
In the article, Feeney discussed how early collaboration and transparency were critical to navigating the project’s complexity, noting that “bringing the owner, engineers, architects and construction team together from the start allowed us to evaluate multiple solutions quickly and make informed decisions under tight constraints.”
Additionally, Feeney highlighted the importance of choosing the right technical solution for long-term success, explaining that “the use of helical micro-piles provided a permanent fix that not only stabilized the slab, but ensured the warehouse could safely support future operations without ongoing structural concerns.”
Ryan Teicher, REDCOM’s CEO commented, “REDCOM’s project approach is grounded in the collaboration of experts working together to solve problems and accomplish clients’ objectives. REDCOM thrives with a challenge, whether it’s our own internal team of engineers, architects and construction managers working together or whether we’re partnering with third party professionals.
