Richardson & Giletto of Vantage Commercial sells 70,000 s/f manufacturing facility in Millville

Southern, NJ — Vantage Commercial announced the following Southern NJ transactions:

Vantage Commercial completed the sale of an industrial property in Millville. The facility, located at 525 Orange St., was home to Parker Chomerics, a firm specializing in aviation instrumentation glass. Vantage Commercial was selected by the owners of 525 Orange Street to list the building and locate a buyer.

Ken Richardson, executive director and Corinne Giletto, senior advisor at Vantage Commercial, represented both the seller and the buyer in the transaction. Leisure Pools, headquartered in Knoxville, TN purchased the building as they had a need for additional capacity on the East Coast. The 70,000 s/f building, including the adjacent 20 acres of land, filled the requirements for the fiberglass pool manufacturer.

Leisure Pools builds the world's best composite fiberglass swimming pools, spas and tanning ledges which are distributed through a network of independent, locally owned & operated professional pool dealers. Since the company's start in the year 2000, Leisure Pools has become a global organization helping over 50,000 families in 33 countries enjoy their "life of leisure" through the happiness that comes from enjoying their own swimming pool.

“Leisure Pools will enjoy the facility and have the option for future expansion with the additional land adjacent to the plant. The Orange Street facility met all of their requirements and ownership had a positive experience working with Vantage and the town of Millville,” Richardson said.

Vantage Commercial announced the sale of a mixed-use property located at 50 S. Academy St. in Glassboro. The property, a former catering hall, also includes an attached residence and a detached improvement, formerly used as a hair salon and two-car garage.

The buyer intends to redevelop the property, which is over one and a half acres, to a use more congruous with the surrounding neighborhood and consistent with the needs of the community.
