What is your greatest professional accomplishment?

My contribution towards the growth of REDCOM over the last 10 years.

• Doubling the sales and revenue within 5 years into my job and consistently hitting target year after year.

• Expanding the number of employees. The firm has 60 employees compared to 25 employees when I first started.

What is your most notable project, deal or transaction?

Open Road BMW, Edison NJ.

• A ground-up, 2-story, 76,000SF building.

• One of the largest exclusive BMW, dealerships in the country.

How do you contribute to your company and / or the industry?

I ensure the company has an abundant pipeline of diversified projects between the automotive, industrial, and commercial market.

Who or what has been the strongest influence in your career?

My kids are my motivation to strive to do better each day.

What impact has social media / networking had on your career?

Social media and networking have broadened my circle and given me the opportunity to meet many influential people in the industry.

Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current position and why you choose the field/profession you are in today?

The tragedy of 9/11 shifted my choice in career path. My job required me to travel extensively all over the world, which I no longer wanted to do. Along the road I met with the owner of REDCOM, Gregory J. Redington, who offered me a role at his company as VP of Sales. My experience in business development and Sales made this an excellent position and opportunity. In addition to that, I enjoy the Real Estate market and the Construction industry.

What were some of your early goals and did anything happen to change them?

After joining REDCOM, one of my long-term goals was to acquire a site for myself. I had the chance few years ago to accomplish that goal.

What unique qualities and or personality do you feel makes you most successful in your profession?

Persistence to keep striving and have a desire for success. Must have passion for what you do, and most importantly care about people.

What challenges and or obstacles do you feel you needed to overcome to become as successful as you are today?

Biggest challenge was the growth of the company at a rapid speed. Learning how to manage the surge in business in the earlier years of my career at REDCOM.

During COVID, keeping my team motivated and keeping the revenue flowing.

What was the most defining moment for you?

Becoming a father.

Who do you feel was most influential in your life when choosing this profession?

My father and my mentor, Lew Becker, have been the key influential people who shaped the roadmap to where I am today.

What is the funniest, most unique situation you have faced / conquered during your career? Or in your life?

At REDCOM, our work culture is fun and exciting. We have many corporate events throughout the year that allow the employees to share lots of laughter and create memorable moments.

What inspiring word of advice would you give to a young executive graduating from college today?

Whatever you chose to do in life make sure you’re passionate about the work! Also, be 100% committed to everyone that you’re doing business with, whether it’s clients, colleagues, alliances, etc.
