Nasser Freres unveils first renderings and launches teaser website

JERSEY CITY, NJ Construction is nearing completion on The Greyson, a striking 29-story rental building at 25 Cottage St. in Jersey City’s Journal Square neighborhood. Developed by Nasser Freres, with both architecture and interior design by renowned NYC-based Handel Architects, The Greyson will offer 622 studio to three-bedroom rental homes, hospitality-inspired amenities, and a curated living experience, just moments from the Journal Square PATH station.

As anticipation builds for the February 2026 leasing launch, to be led by The Marketing Directors, the development team has revealed the first renderings of The Greyson’s social and wellness amenities. A new teaser website has also launched, where prospective residents can join a priority list to be among the first to be contacted upon the grand opening.

Crowning the building is the 29th-floor rooftop Sky Deck, with exterior features designed by Melillo Bauer Carman Landscape Architecture, including landscaped outdoor areas with loungers and observation terraces. The showpiece is what is expected to be the highest swimming pool in the state, offering sweeping views across Jersey City and the Manhattan skyline.

The building’s ground-floor retail will front a newly created section of the Homestead Place extension, bringing energy and charm, with the corridor providing a direct, car-free pedestrian pathway flanked by cafes and stores to the transit hub.

The Greyson is set just two blocks off the Square, offering a quieter, serene arrival experience while remaining conveniently close to the neighborhood’s extensive transportation network, anchored by PATH service to lower and midtown Manhattan, as well as Jersey City, Hoboken, and Newark. NJ Transit trains and private buses also serve Journal Square daily, providing easy access to major employment, dining, and recreation centers on both sides of the Hudson River.
