Thanks to a strong work ethic and a determined focus on meeting clients’ needs, Kislak remains a market leader no matter what the market brings to bear. Of course, it’s a little easier as the prolonged historically low interest rates contribute to aggressive pricing and purchasing, and high demand for multifamily and all commercial property types.
Still, finding, making and sealing the deals requires stellar client service, and the kind of long-lasting relationships the Kislak team builds face to face, one handshake at a time. The tried and true fundamentals that have served this company so well for 109 years, are just as important and effective today as they were in 1906.
It was our well-established reputation as a leader in multifamily property sales in New Jersey that last year led to Kislak’s selection as the exclusive broker for Rachel Gardens and to a remarkable $136 million sale. And our performance during the first six months of this year has been record-breaking both in terms of the number of transactions closed and our transaction volume. I expect significant year-over-year growth.
Relationship-building was also an important factor in a move that is broadening our horizons and our opportunities. With our recent hiring of a talented trio previously with Coldwell Banker Commercial Feist & Feist Realty Corp., we are now able to expand Kislak’s commercial sales and leasing division. Peter Wisniewski has been appointed an executive vice president and will lead the division, which includes Dorothy LeGreca, a senior vice president, and Sean Cust, an associate.
Their expertise and successful track record handling commercial sales and leasing transactions will be an excellent complement to our investment sales business. The team’s specialties including office/industrial sales and leasing and retail leasing/tenant representation work on a regional basis.
The timing was right for Kislak and Peter’s team and we are excited to have them join us. Many of our investment real estate clients and investors have other commercial real estate needs and our expanded commercial sales and leasing division will allow us to better serve those needs.
