Closter, NJ — Heidenberg Properties, a full-service real estate development company specializing in the acquisition and development of open-air shopping centers, has added Pablo Medeiros to its management team as Director of Development and Construction.
Medeiros comes to Heidenberg Properties with many years of experience in construction and management. Most recently, he served as the project manager/consultant for Catellus Development Corporation’s mixed-use development project, which included 390,000 s/f of retail and 160,000 s/f of light industrial space in New Jersey. Prior to this position, he worked as a site development manager and senior associate for Greenberg Farrow Architects conducting new store development projects for clients such as Walmart, Kohl’s, and Home Depot.
Heidenberg Properties’ retail portfolio spans over 2,000,000 s/f in NY, NJ, PA, MI, and VT and is currently engaged in an intense period of expansion, redevelopment, and revitalization. “We are seeing tremendous opportunities to grow our portfolio organically through major re-tenanting initiatives and outlot development,” said Robert Heidenberg, CEO of Heidenberg Properties. “We believe it is important to bring the talent required to manage these projects efficiently and effectively in-house. Pablo has a technical skill-set that will facilitate the success of these projects from a development and construction perspective, as well as the retail experience necessary to support revenue growth at the properties,” said Heidenberg.
Medeiros has already started managing several developments at Heidenberg Properties, including:
Berlin Mall, Berlin, VT - 55,000 s/f ground-up Kohl’s, which began construction in early August and is scheduled to open February 28, 2016.
