40 Under 40: “Your network is your net worth”

What is your most notable project, deal or transaction?
I represented a developer in connection with the acquisition and financing of a 400,000 s/f office park in New Jersey.  
What impact has social media / networking had on your career? 
Your network is your net worth. The ability to develop and leverage industry relationships is invaluable. While social media may help facilitate networking, I believe that the strongest and most meaningful relationships are still built face-to-face. 
Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current position and why you choose the field/profession you are in today? 
Before I was an attorney, I was a commercial mortgage broker for six years. Many of my clients came to me with questions unrelated to their financing (i.e. ownership structure, tax consequences, etc.) After being asked to serve as a general advisor to my clients and not just a mortgage broker, I knew I wanted to be an attorney. In 2012, I quit my job and enrolled in law school full time. In 2015, I began my career as an attorney.
