Jessica Newhouse joins Progressive Housing Ventures as project manager


Malvern, PAProgressive Housing Ventures announced that Jessica Newhouse has joined the company as project manager. The announcement was made by Sarah Peck, president and founder of the company. The Malvern-based residential developer and homebuilder creates new housing communities in older suburbs of Philadelphia which are within walking distance of train stations and town centers.

Newhouse will be responsible for management of company development projects under construction as well as for launching future projects in the pipeline. Currently under construction are Arbor Mews, a 24 unit townhome community in Norristown, and Daley, a 28 unit townhome project in Bryn Mawr. Arbor Mews is a sequel to Arbor Heights, a 2015 recipient of the Urban Land Institute’s The Willard G. “Bill” Rouse III Award for Excellence.

Newhouse has over ten years of experience in commercial real estate, having worked in asset and project management, acquisitions, corporate finance, and market analysis. She has worked for several large REITs, including Resource Real Estate, KTR Capital Partners, and Verde Realty, in addition to consulting with Ernst & Young’s Real Estate Transaction Advisory Services group.

Newhouse holds a BS in Economics from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Rice University. She is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Advisory Board.
