NJ Chapter of the AIA elects Judith Donnelly as second VP


FLORHAM PARK, NJ — The New Jersey chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA-NJ) announced that Judith Donnelly, AIA, has been elected as the organization’s second vice president. She was formally installed during AIA-NJ’s annual awards gala at The Park Savoy in Florham Park. Donnelly has been an active member of AIA-NJ for over a decade and has been a member of several of the organization’s committees. “Being a part of AIA has been extremely rewarding for me both personally and professionally; I am honored to serve as second VP of AIA-NJ,” Donnelly said. “I look forward to being a part of this organization’s growth as we continue to strive to serve our communities and increase awareness about the architectural profession.” Donnelly is the principal owner of Hackettstown-based Donnelly Architecture, LLC, which works on both residential and commercial projects. She also serves her community through pro-bono architectural services. Donnelly holds a bachelor degree of fine arts from Kean University and a master’s degree in architecture from New Jersey Institute of Technology. She has also taught in the Interior Design program of the Berkeley College of Business. Other officers that were installed at the gala include Justin Mihalik, AIA, as president; Ben Lee, AIA, as president elect; Verity Frizzell, AIA, as first VP; John Cwikla, AIA, as secretary; and Kim Bunn, AIA, as past president; and Brandon Warshofsky, Associate AIA, as regional associate director. Steven Lazarus, AIA, continues as treasurer and Robert Cozzarelli, AIA, continues as regional representative.
