Hamilton, NJ — New Day Underwriting Managers LLC has named Cara Giquinto as a senior account manager in the Real Estate Group. She will work directly with New Day’s broad national client base to identify environmental risk management strategies designed to provide ongoing protection from pollution and construction-related professional liability risks. “Cara is a highly motivated insurance professional with extensive client services and sales experience,” said John Heft, senior VP and director of New Day’s Real Estate Practice. “Her dedication to results and thorough knowledge of the industry and the underlying issues represent the ideal background needed to diligently service our clients and continue our growth in this market. We welcome her expertise and ability to deliver solutions that best serve the customer.” Giquinto joins New Day with nearly 20 years of insurance industry experience. For more than 15 years, she held management positions at the Borden Perlman Agency in Lawrenceville, NJ. This included negotiating new business ranging from small to large lines and guiding the organization’s marketing efforts. Prior to these positions, Giquinto also handled and investigated claims at the Medical Inter-Insurance Exchange and Penn-National Insurance Company. A resident of Hamilton Square, NJ, Giquinto holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from The College of New Jersey and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.
