Newark, NJ Type of mixed-use: The multi-purpose facility provides the campus community with a modern space for athletic activities, entertainment events, convocations and professional meetings. Size: 200,000 SF NJIT’s Wellness and Event’s Center is a state-of-the-art, multipurpose athletic center. The facility, designed to be integrated into student life and to create a new focal point of the campus, includes a 10,000 SF indoor turf area, an 8-lane, 25-meter swimming pool, running track and racquetball/squash courts. The 3,500 seat Convocation Center hosts concession stands, the team store, athletic department offices, and offers both basketball and volleyball team facilities. Students can enjoy exercise classrooms, weight training equipment, a two court gymnasium and locker room facilities. The center also has accommodations to host conferences of up to 4,000 attendees.

Cushman & Wakefield NJ Valley Hospital Site Assemblage Paramus, NJ

Type of mixed-use: Medical, Office Size: 20 acres Brokers: Robert Rudin, Jan Randall, Rustam Nazirbaev, Peter Hamburger, David Bernhaut, and Andrew MacDonald The Cushman & Wakefield team implemented a long-term strategy to assemble a 20+ acre site in Paramus, a densely developed area in Northern NJ, where Valley Hospital could build a new state-of-the-art $735 million healthcare facility. The complex plan required a clear and detailed vision of what needed to be accomplished to accommodate Valley’s specific requirements. The successful deal involved the acquisition of over 500,000 SF of office space, the creation of 500-1,000 jobs and the construction of projects valued in excess of $800 million.
