Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in:
I began my career In 1975, working part time after school where I ordered and reviewed title searches for foreclosure suits.
What is your current position?
I am the President at Mutual Abstract Company, a licensed title insurance company located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
Why did you choose the field/profession you are in today?
Real Estate is always changing which makes it a challenging industry. Changes to Divorce Codes and Bankruptcy Codes can affect the Real Estate industry. Buying or selling homes can be a very emotional time for both buyers and sellers.and I enjoy being a part of that.
What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2018?
We celebrated our 26th year in business this year and still have many of the same clients that started with us on that very first day.
How do you manage the work/life balance?
Now that the kids are married and in their own homes, of course it’s easier, but when they were younger it was quite a struggle. Family time is family time.Being able to put down your phone and focus on what is important is key.
