WAYNESBORO, PA — The rare and quality collections of longtime benefactors of Penn State, Kenton and the late Audrey Broyles of Waynesboro are up for auction and set to close early this November. The Broyles are well known for their contributions totaling nearly 1 million dollars in scholarships to benefit the various athletic & art departments in Penn State University. Kenton is a retired guidance counselor with the Waynesboro Area School District. Although he is a graduate of Shippensburg State University, he was a longtime fan of the Nittany Lions football team, and his interest in Penn State athletics eventually led him to become former director of the Penn State Club of Franklin County.
