2019 recipient of the Growing Great Women in the Garden State Award
What is your current position? I am a senior environmental consultant, with specialties in brownfield remediation and redevelopment, non-profit professional organization management, and regulatory advice. Why did you choose the field/profession you are in today? I’ve been interested in the environmental field since high school and became interested in facility siting and hazardous waste management in graduate school. Brownfield remediation and redevelopment became a real passion because of the ability to see tangible, positive results of a project. What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2019? The NJ Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association (LSRPA), for which I am the contracted Executive Director, and the NJ Society of Women Environmental Professionals (SWEP), an organization of great importance to me, just shattered all expectations with their successful golf event which raised over $37,000 for both organizations’ scholarship funds. The recipients of the scholarships are so inspiring.
