WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Bergman Real Estate Group has announced that Brian Rand has been promoted to CIO.
Rand joined the Bergman organization in 2022 as director of acquisitions.
Rand will continue to be responsible for spearheading the firm’s acquisitions activity and expanding the firm’s portfolio across a variety of asset classes, including industrial, multi-family, office and retail.
"Brian has proven to be an invaluable addition to the Bergman team, driving our growth and effectively leading efforts to diversify our portfolio. His expertise in evaluating the entire investment lifecycle of commercial properties aligns perfectly with the requirements of this new role," said Michael Bergman, president of Bergman Real Estate Group.
Before joining Bergman, Rand was president and founder of Simius Holdings LLC, a boutique real estate investment company with assets throughout the Midwestern, SE and Northeastern US. Throughout his tenure, Rand actively acquired, managed and created value for assets within Simius’s portfolio, leading to outsized returns for its investors and partners. Rand earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Business & Organizations from Cornell University and received his Masters of Business Administration from The George Washington University.
