Dan Foley joins Cresa as a managing principal

RUTHERFORD, NJ — Cresa announced that Dan Foley has joined the company as a managing principal with the firm’s Rutherford office and will serve large office and industrial clients throughout the NE corridor.

A veteran of the industry and prolific dealmaker, Foley joins from Savills, where he was one of the region’s top producers. Previously, he was the founder of tenant representation firm Strategic Alliance Partners. He started his career at CBRE.

Foley is a recognized corporate headquarters relocation expert and has arranged some of New Jersey’s largest, most complex transactions during his career, including the state’s biggest headquarters deals four out of the last 10 years. Some of those include the New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s 210,000 headquarters lease in Woodbridge, NJ; Eisai Co., Ltd.’s 335,000 s/f headquarters lease in Nutley, NJ; John Wiley & Sons’ 386,400 s/f headquarters lease in Hoboken, NJ; and Securitas’ long-term headquarters lease in Parsippany, NJ. Over the years, Foley has also represented International Paper in more than 9.0 million s/f of deals throughout the U.S.

Foley’s work has been recognized with numerous industry awards such as SIOR’s Largest Office Lease (New Jersey) for the John Wiley & Sons transaction, NAIOP’s Deal of the Year for Eisai Co., Ltd.’s lease, and SIOR’s Largest Office Lease for the New Jersey Tpke. Authority’s headquarters lease.

Foley currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the Bergen Community College Foundation.
