Fort Lee Resident Jaime Weiss Honored at Meadowlands Chamber 50th Anniversary Legacy Awards

The Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce paid tribute to Jaime Weiss, President of Weiss Realty at the 50th Anniversary Legacy Awards Gala held at the Venetian in Garfield, NJ this past Thursday, October 12th. Weiss was honored for his significant contributions to the Meadowlands economy and positive impacts on the Meadowlands Chamber membership and greater Meadowlands Region.
A long-time Fort Lee resident and prominent Moonachie-based commercial real estate broker, Weiss was noted for his exceptional accomplishments in
commercial real estate during a career that spans almost 6 decades. Weiss is
credited with being a pioneer in the industry who has handled some of the largest transactions in the state representing numerous Fortune 500 companies and having been the broker overseeing over 10 million square feet of office and industrial space throughout his career.
Jaime Weiss has resided in Bergen County since 1972 and his career has been marked by passion and hard work. From working with Hartz Mountain’s first leases that became “catalysts” for future development to other significant trans-actions that set the tone for the CRE landscape Jaime Weiss has been responsible for many of the most important and significant commercial real estate
leasing and sales transactions in The Meadowlands and Gold Coast areas in Northern New Jersey. Weiss received the Fort Lee Chamber of Commerce Beautification Award and Person of the Year Award for the development of the Starbucks and Bank of America Drive-thru on Route 4 East.
The list includes sales and lease transactions with Terminal Construction, Russo Development, The Mack Company, Hartz Mountain, Scholastic, Sony, Firestone, Perelli, Escada, CBS and NTB, Honeywell, Allied Signal, Pepsi Cola, Pantone and North Fork Bank to name a few.
